Take back some features from the old xgit-log code.
We now have various ways to limit the output of git-log (--since,
--grep, ...).

restored ediff support for git (was broken after cg->git move).
Currently, this works only for C-x V e (dvc-file-ediff). Some work is
still needed to make it operational for dvc-diff-mode too.

Git log overhaul: use the DVC infrastructure for log.
This is partly a regression for now, but this means future improvement to
the DVC revision list mode will benefit to xgit too.
It already gives more flexibility (t c, t d, t s, to toggle displaying
the creator, date, and summary already work for example).
