Default dvc-number-of-dead-process-buffer to zero; set higher for
debugging.
Declare dvc-show-active-dvc-string to be buffer-local at top level, as
suggested by byte compiler.

Declare dvc-buffer-marked-file-list to be buffer-local.
Set dvc-temp-current-active-dvc for each call of a dvc mode that needs it.
