improve dvc-log, xmtn back-end
* lisp/dvc-defs.el (dvc-log-last-n): improve :type to allow nil.
* lisp/dvc-unified.el (dvc-log): allow specifying last-n interactively.
use dvc-read-project-tree-maybe for root.
(dvc-changelog): improve docstring.
* lisp/xmtn-revlist.el (xmtn-dvc-log): improve documentation; cleaner
fall-back for not supporting non-root path.
(xmtn-dvc-changelog): improve documentation.
(xmtn--log-helper): pass in 'root', not 'path'
