I finally got my work website back up; it's now http://gds.gsfc.nasa.gov/dvc-intro.html I maintain that document for the benefit of my team at work; it will continue to be specific to that. In particular, it will rely on additions that are not part of standard DVC, and conventions that are specific to my work project (GDS). So I don't think it's appropriate to publish it elsewhere. Others are free to link to it if they wish.
