Not sure if the patch would help or if it's applicable to version 5 or has to be rebased. But I know this DVD was extracted perfectly and plays on DVD players. Same issue playing directly from DVD drive in VLC (which uses libdvdnav of course). Main title plays in mplayer. I'll see if I can get a Windows system or VM to play it there or maybe use a DVD shrinker on it (but that will probably just copy the titles/menu/nav stuff anyway).
