Yeah, I think that makes a lot of sense.  I never felt like being able to
do that on LJ would too much to an already-anonymous comment, but other
people would and do like it a lot, and especially so in forums that get a
lot of non-user comments, like blogger is and like DW could be.  It would
also provide some continuity with letting OpenID users doing the same
thing; i.e. all non-DW-users who want to comment, whether anon or OpenID,
can "sign" whatever name they want and it shows up in the comment header.
