Phone posting is the ability to call a certain number and leave
an audio post in your journal, which people then have to listen
to or hope some kind soul has transcribed. It's not the same
thing as posting text from your mobile telephone.

A lot of people, and I am definitely in this group, find this
behaviour incredibly annoying. I won't say I defriend people for
phone posting, because you can ignore them unless someone's
transcribed them. But I do ignore them, unless somoene's
transcribed them.

I like reading people's journals, not listening to them; I can
read much faster than you can talk, and if all the people on my
flist phone posted, I'd have to cut it by a huge proportion.
