We had talked before about DW having 'linked' journal accounts... ie: Highlander_II is my main acct, but I also want to be $subacct_foo and $subacct_bar, but I don't necessarily have to log in as each acct to post/change/comment/etc... it's more the 'dropdown' 'work as user:' option, yes?
Wouldn't this solve some of this 'filtering' that is being requested? example: Highlander_II - main acct public_filter_stuff - for all the world to see fandom_stuff - for all the fandom-related stuff OMG_MINE - for the private stuff etc... Or would each have its own watch/trust list, so we're back to filtering again? Though - honestly, custom filters work for what people are requesting here. It takes a little bit of effort, but if one is seriously searching for that bit of privacy/security, isn't it work the couple extra seconds to add userX to filter:Foo so s/he can see all of one's fandom works or RL dirt or whatever?
