That means that the URL you're using is missing the line in the  
header that says "hi, I'm an OpenID server". The most common cause  
for this is if you've created a custom style for your account on LJ  
and failed to include the function that prints out all of the  
automatic header information, which I don't recall off the top of my  
head but I'm sure someone else does.

(Although I checked your LJ and it seems like you have it there. Were  
you trying to use another site for your OpenID provider?)
