There's some modification to the original entry text that's going to have to be done on crossposting, like pulling out/modifying lj-user tags and such. Polls will most likely also need some sore of similar special attention.
I think that the simplest solution will be just to have one poll on DW and link crossposts back to it, so that's probably what the first version will have.
