I just don't get it. That's what the Adult Concepts filter does.
Do you find that objectionable? Of course as a reader, you can
opt out of that filtering, so maybe what you'd want is the
ability for people to opt out of having auto-collapsed posts on
your reading list? IDK. But I don't think people should be
forcing un-collapsed posts on others.

And to the "TWO WORDS: SCROLL BUTTON" person: you're assuming
that using this on really, really long things is equally easy for
everyone, and I'm pretty sure it's not. I'm pretty sure it's an
accessibility issue for some people. I know sometimes it's hard
for me to figure out where $HUEGPOST ends and my regular
friendslist programming resumes, both visually and in terms of
the annoyance factor of "do I autoscroll, how do I find the end
of this thing, how long do I have to mouse to get past this..."

If I were more visually impaired and had a worse RSI than I do, I
think I would find it far more annoying than I do and I already
find it pretty annoying.

I understand the impulse to want people to look at your content
the way you want them to look at it, but ultimately, if you force
too many of your choices on people they're going to stop reading
you; I think of all these things as ways that people can keep
reading each other and preserve social ties that would otherwise
maybe be lost if they had to deal with each other without
filters or not at all.
