Some group is soliciting opinions as to which dx-ped is the "best". I put the -best- in quotes as I think this poll is quite subjective...cld be read 'unfair'. What is good for one ham from a dx-ped is possibly another story when another is polled.
Having said all this...and really having nothing at all to do with what is "best"...I wud like to throw my own 2 cents in abt an on-going dx-ped. The guys from fo/oh6kn are doing an almost perfect job IMHO. Let's see: 1) They have picked an entity that a lot of folks need. 2) They are there for a long time. 3) They work cw a lot. 4) They have a good web search and info page on the web...available while they are there and early too. 5) They are very courteous operators. Not bossy and pretty quiet. 6) They seem to demonstrate a previous understanding of propagation to geographical areas that some dx-peds seem not to be aware of or care about. 7) They are easy to work and LOUD! IE---have good equipment. 8) They work all bands, and modes if u ask them. 9) They do not seem to care abt how mny Qs they work. The above are based solely on my opinion...ur mileage (needs-desires)may vary. I think there will not be much need for fo/a when they are finished. Good job guys!
