[DX-CHAT] VU4 signal strength

On Thursday ( Dec. 02 ) between 2050 and 2115 UTC, VU4RBI was an easily readable  S-7 ( SP ) in central NC on 14.201 Mhz. I was fortunate enough to work her at 2100. She faded rapidly after 2120 and the signal was gone by 2130, although I understand she worked some EU after then.   The couple of times I' ve heard them since then the signal has only been S-2 or 3.  I could hear the JA' s replying to them on 15 meters this evening, but no signal at all from the VU4.    Let' s hope for some better propagation.   Good luck, 73, Kent - K4MK
