I would say a TS570D(G) would be the ideal rig. I would shop for the best
price. I thing we can get one for around $1000 or less. If I can get
commitments form enough hams with donations to cover the cost of the radio I
will do the collecting of the funds, packing, ordering, and pay the shipping
as my part.
