After their successful Jersey and Sardinia operations, they decided to go to the Azores Island (CU - IOTA EU-003) to set up their Multi-Operator station this year. The team consist of Burghard (DF8XC), Peter (DH4JQ), Alfons (DJ8VC), Hans-Jorgen (DL1YFF), Franz (DL3PS), Stefan (DL7AOS), Lars (DL9LR) and Karlfried (DL1EK). Everything is ready and the departure is scheduled on the next Friday October 22nd. After a stop in Bangkok, and starting on October 24th the Clipperton DX Club crew, composed namely of Gerard F2VX, Jean-Louis F9DK, Vincent G0LMX and Alain F5LMJ will be active as A52CDX. The staying is divided into two periods: 1st) Between October 24th to 31th, the crew will be active from the Ham-Center in Thimphu. Entering the CQWW SSB is scheduled as part of the activity. 2 or 3 stations will be able to handle the traffic at the same time from 10 to 80 metres in CW, SSB and digital modes (PA 1 kW, Yagi, verticals and wires antennas). 2nd) From November 2 to 11th, the crew will be settling the new station for the ARC of thr Jakar High School (Central Bhutan). A 100 watts transmitter and wire antennas will put on the air, the members of the expedition always as A52CDX.
