Anyone know of an "RSGB Callbook" on the web?

I am particularly looking for information on the many GB-prefixed calls that
have been issued over the years.

I got RSGB confused with the UK licensing authority (kind of like getting ARRL and FCC mixed up). My bad.

Anyway, here is a summary of what I received. Looks like the answer is no.

From Rag LA5HE:

I don't think RSG has the G-callbook on the WWW.

They do however sell an annual books, which used to contain all G -calls.

For special prefixes , they are listed in the monthly issues of RADCOM , a magazine you would enjoy.

From Jeff Blight, G4SOF:

I think you will find the rsgb do not do a call book on the web

they do not control the issue of calls here in the uk,the calls are issued on behalf of the government by there radio comms department called Ofcom you could try there webb sight <file://www.radio.gov.uk>www.radio.gov.uk or <file://www.radiolicencecentre.co.uk>www.radiolicencecentre.co.uk but im not sure if that will get you what you want, lots of guys over here withhold there addresses (seems real stupid to me)as they are afraid they will get there homes broken into if they say on the air they are away from home (very sad)

Like you say its not very easy to find upto date info on call details for hams here in the uk especially the newer ones and I know lots of the older call info is not correct either,I use qrz or buckmaster for what its worth

From Keith G3VKW / KC8PQV:

I don't know if you will find many GB call's listed in any call book. most are special Events, ie County Fairs, Scout Jamboree's, Dx Conventions Etc, and are notified in advance in the RSGB RadCom magazine.

All the UK repeaters have a GB3 call
Packet nodes and BBS's have GB7 calls.

I run GB7DXS Packet DX Cluster ( DX Sussex )as in the UK you cannot just run one using your own call, it is Franchised if you like to the RSGB, for all Amateurs to use, and you need a Notice of Variation to your licence issued before you can go on air.
