08/12/2004:  Fred WW4LL and John K4BAI will be active as PJ4Z during the
ARRL 10 Meter Contest (December 11-12th). They will be active as
PJ4/WW4LL and PJ4/K4BAI on both SSB and CW beginning December 8th

10/12/2004:  Joseph, P4/WF9V (special call P40ZZ); David, P4/K9UK;
David, P4/WG9J; Thomas, P4/W9AEB (special call P40TP) and William,
P4/WW9WW will be active December 10-16th from Aruba (SA-036). Activity
will be on 160 throug 6 meters CW and SSB, with emphasis on the ARRL 10
Meter Contest (December 11-12th). QSL for all stations is via WF9V. [Tnx

10/12/2004:  TARG (Thessaloniki Amateur Radio Group) will be QRV
December 10th and 11th as SX2LH from the Lighthouse of Megalou Emvolou
of Thessaloniki area (ARLHS reference GRE-096). Activity will be from
06:00 UTC Friday morning until 18:00 UTC Saturday afternoon. Look for
them on the following frequencies: SSB - 7.040-7.100 center 7.051;
14.125-14.275 center 14.221; 18.145; 21.150-21.250 center 21.221; and
28.300-28.500 center 28.451 MHz. CW - 3.521; 7.005-7.035; 14.010-14.040;
18.090; 21.010-21.040 and 28.010-28.040 center 28.021 MHz. QSL manager

11/12/2004:  Steve, G0UIH will be QRV December 11th as 3D2FI from Viti
Levu (OC-016). He will also be active as VK2IAY/4 from one of the
Queensland IOTA groups (details to be announced). The operation is
likely to be around 14260 and 21260 kHz and there may also be some 17m

11/12/2004:  Look for EF8TDX to be aired on 15 meters only from Tufia
Rock (DIE S-101), Canary Islands (AF-004) December 11-12th. QSL via

11/12/2004:  Michel - F6COW, Dominique - F6EPY and Radi - F6GNZ will be
QRV December 11th to 23rd as FO/F6COW, FO/F6EPY, FO/F6GNZ respectively
from Hiva Hoa, Marquesas (OC-027). They will have two stations and will
operate mostly CW and SSB with some digital modes (PSK31, RTTY, SSTV) on
demand. Expect activity on 80 through 10 meters, with some 160m if
conditions allow, with a priority to the low bands. QSL via home calls.

11/12/2004:  Look for JL2LRO/6 and JK2HVD/6 to be active December
11-13th from Miyako Island (AS-079, JIIA AS-079-005). QSL via home

11/12/2004:  Jakob, OZ7AEI/p, plans to activate the 4 lighthouses of
Thyboron (ARLHS reference DEN-083, DEN-188, DEN-189, and DEN-222)
December 11th. Later in the day he will go to Nordjylland Island (IOTA
EU-171, DIA NJ-001) and activate the 2 lighthouses of Agger Tange (ARLHS
DEN-190 and DEN-191). Activity will be on 40 and 20 meter, with the
first activation around 08:00 UTC. QSL via home call, direct or bureau.

14/12/2004:  After his 3D2FI activities from Fiji (OC-016, OC-156 and
OC-121) Steve, G0UIH, will operate as VK2IAY/4 from North Stradbroke
Island (OC-137) December 14-17th. QSL via home call, direct or bureau.

18/12/2004:  Members of the Union de Radioaficionados de Gijon (EA1URG)
will be active from the Faro de Cabo de Penas Lighthouse (ARLHS SPA-037)
on December 18-19th. The callsign will be ED1PFA. The operation will be
under the authority of the "Autoridad Portuaria de Gijon".
This is one of the most emblematic lighthouses in Spain, situated on the
Cape of Penas, Asturias. Today it serves as a differential GPS
navigation service station. They plan to show up on HF, VHF and UHF on
all modes. Also, there will be PSK31 and RTTY. QSL via EA1URG; by the

16/12/2004:  The Anaheim California Police Amateur Radio Club will
sponsor special event station K6B. This, to commemorate the 60th
anniversary of the famed Battle of the Bulge that took place during
World War II. Operation will be on 40 through 15 meters from December
