Regards Egi, IZ8BRI Vlad, RU3HD/R1ANN, plans to come up with the "Antarctica 50RAE Award" after his wintering on Novolazarevskaya Base. 2 QSOs are necessary to be made with the crews of the 50th Russian Antarctic Expedition (50RAE) in 2005. Look for R1ANB, R1ANC, R1ANF, R1ANK, R1ANP, R1ANT, R1ANZ etc ... So go ahead and make sure that you worked enough 50RAE stations to get this award! Aleksej, R1ANC, reports that his wintering will be finished at the end of December. The new shift of Vostok Base (51RAE) will arrive at Progress Base. Aleksej plans to operate as R1ANP from there before going on board of "Akademik Fedorov".
