I'm planning to put together an A3WS that has recently come in to my possession. I've had to do a few repairs on end tips and one broken trap end but otherwise the antenna is in good shape.
I have a photocopied manual and cannot see if the elements are mounted on the under side of the book or on top. The manual doesn't indicate which way they go. I assume from the few pictures I have looked at on the net that the elements go under the boom.
