Thousands of ham rigs are shipped via UPS and other carriers all the time...
they all can't be ruined in shipping. I would like to know the failure
rates for radios packed exactly the way they come from the factory.

Personally, I have found that if I use all of the factory rigid foam packing
in exactly the way the factory did, with all the original boxes-in-boxes,
the rig arrives ok.

I wonder how many rigs arrive at retail ham stores beaten up when the
factory packing is used fully.
