Special Event Stations using the call sign W7K will operate from 0000 UTC October 20 through 0000 UTC October 22. That's 8 PM EDT Friday to 8 PM EDT Sunday. This is the celebration of the 85th year of continuous operation by the Radio Club of Tacoma, Washington. Frequencies used will be at the low end of the General Class sub bands. Special QSL cards are available for cards sent with SASEs. A certificate will be awarded to the station from each state or country submitting a list for the greatest number of contacts with different club members. Send to RCT, Box 11188, Tacoma, WA 98411. The Radio Club of Tacoma first met October 20, 1916, and has been in continuous existence even through both world wars.
