Be advised that the Hurricane Watch Net is again in operation on 14.325 and needs a clear freq, of course. The HWN collects on-ground observed weather information and sends that to the Miami Nat. Hurricane Center. The actual on-the-spot weather measurements are not available to the Center in any other way and greatly supplement the air flights and other observation technologies.
