I gave him a quick call as he was 20 over nine here and was told he was working EU only. It took him longer to tell me he couldn't have a valid QSO with me than if he had given me a quick 5x9 and carried on.
His run rate is quite abysmal and it will take him a while to learn how to handle pileups. In the meantime, he seems to be making a few EUs quite angry. Pity! But DX IS! and it's where you find it. If he can learn by his experiences and become a good DXpeditioner - all the better! We need more guys to go to rare places because without them... us DXers are dead in the water. 73 de Lee ZL2AL - ZL7AA, ZL8RI, ZL9CI, VE3OE, Pilot ZL7C October, 2002 The noblest of all dogs is the hot-dog; it feeds the hand that bites it. . ----- Original Message ----- From: "Waldemar DK3VN" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "DX-News" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, November 04, 2002 1:17 AM Subject: [DX-NEWS] K8T working EU - some thoughts > Hi, > > it's Sunday ~13 UTC and I am listening to K8T on 14195, > QSX 14200-210.
