You may not be aware but there were delays in the reflector that caused delays in the posts during this time (check the message headers). Its also very unlikely that the people who tried to warn others of the hoax would have posted anything if someone else already had posted a warning - I certainly would not have. AV protection does not help at all when a user receives an email virus hoax (usually from someone they know and trust) which tells them how to clean up the "virus". You and I may know how to spot the hoax but there are many folks who are simply trying to enjoy their hobby who don't and I'm sure appreciate a heads up before they do damage to their PC and advise others to do the same.
