I don't have access to the dual-screen setup right now. It'll have to
wait until beginning of October.

Title:
Unity does not switch to the correct desktop when an app is
  "maximized" across dual screen

Status in Unity:
  Incomplete
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  System:
Natty 32-bit (pae kernel) + NVidia + dual screen

  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Run an app (for example gedit)
  2. Maximize it across both screens (drag it manually as far as you can, don't
use the "maximize" button since that will only maximize it on one of the two
screens)
  3. Switch to another desktop (for example CTRL-ALT-RIGHTARROW)
  4. Try to switch back to the already running app by clicking the
corresponding icon in the launcher

  Expected:
Desktop switches back to the first desktop with app on top

  What actually happens:
Nothing, except for a little arrow appearing to the right of the app's icon
in the launcher, the desktop does not switch
