This not about "suggestions" included in the home lens all the time. The topic at hand is "Search results". They are not smart because they're not returning anything useful to the user when you type in Steam, Gimp, chromium, etc. Smart scopes right now is only returning A LOT of irrelevant stuff with these searches, so, confusing more the user / consumer. However, the apps-scope already has this implemented. Fix needed: Add useful software center results also to the home-scope as per the goal to make the dash searches smart. ----------- original report: clean install of saucy, searched for chromium, banshee, etc. on either of these a Info icon for wikipedia is shown or chromium bookmarks was shown but not the application itself.
