One note I would like to add is, even though I get the "Sorry, there is nothing that matches your search" message when I first open Dash and there's nothing in the search box, if I enter something, like "Calc" or "Screen", I'll see icons for the applications that match the search criteria. Using this, I'm able to start the frequently used applications that normally would appear as recently used applications when I first open Dash.

All the categories: Home, Apps, Files, ... except for the Social lens/scope. I tried removing the caches under ~/.cache, reset zeitgeist, etc. There is nothing I can do about it.
