Title:
Error string flickers when mousing around dash

Status in Unity:
  Expired
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  1) Open the dash
  2) Switch to a non-home lens (say, Files or Apps)
  3) Search for a nonsense string like "lkadjflkajdlfjald"
  4) Notice the error message "Sorry, there are no <> that match your search"
flickers when appearing
  5) Now mouse over the other lens icons (but don't click) and notice how the
error message flickers more

In (4) and (5) I would expect the error message to not flicker.
