Matching subscriptions: dx-packages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1282203 Title: gnome-terminal not respecting "Enable menu access keys" setting, inside the Unity desktop environment. Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Under Edit --> Keyboard Shortcuts.. there is a checkbox for "Enable menu access keys (such as Alt+F to open the File menu)". That checkbox appear to have no affect what so ever. No matter whatever I have it checked or not I still get the same behavior, that menu access keys are enabled. This being a problem since I'd much rather not have the menu get in the way of my readline/emacs bindings.
