Public bug reported:

It may be that my user session is screwed up and that this bug is
invalid, but anyway I'd appreciate some hints on how to restore the
functionality.

I'm using firefox 28.0, and when I visit a webapp-supported website and
I'm asked for integration and I accept it, nothing happens. For
instance, when I visit gmail.com, no icon is added to the launcher.
There is a gmail application in the dash, but I believe it's from an
older version: in fact, when I start it, the command line being used is:

  webapp-container --app-id=Gmailmailgooglecom --webapp --enable-back-
forward https://mail.google.com

whis seems wrong (the --webapp argument is missing the webapp name).
I tried removing all webapps from ~/.local/share/applications/, and I also
removed the ~/.local/share/unity-webapps* directories, but this didn't help.
