This seems to be a bug in empathy. telepathy-indicator (the component providing messaging menu integration with empathy) correctly requests TP_CONNECTION_PRESENCE_TYPE_HIDDEN when I choose "invisible" from the messaging menu.

The following behaviour occurs: -if I select "Invisible" from Messaging Menu, Empathy actually changes to "Busy". -if I select "Invisible" in Empathy it activates "Busy" in Empathy instead. Messaging Menu however also shows "Busy" when this happens. The behaviour is not always consistent, it depends on the exact order the status is selected.
