Status in “notify-osd” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Hi, i'm italian and i don't speak english very well (and i don't know if this is the right place to report this bug, because my bug is in the command notify-send) When i had a previous Ubuntu's version I could send notification using the command "notify-send body message" on the terminal. If "body" or "message" were too long for a line, I saw the text split in two lines. For example, if i wrote "notif-send hello, how are you? I'm fine, thanks, and you? Me too. What are you doing now? i'm studying" I saw; hello, how are you? I'm fine, thanks, and you? Me too. What are you doing now? i'm studying (the text was split in three lines because there wasn't enough space) But now (with Ubuntu 12.04) i see: hello, how are you? I'm fine, thanks, because it doesn't split the lines. Are there a know solution for this problem?
