Title: Something in the window manager prevents Processing IDE from catching the shift+TAB keypress Status in Unity: Confirmed Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Processing, like most code editors, allows to indent/unindent a block of code by selecting it and hitting tab (increase indent) or shift+tab (decrease indent). That works on most OSes and most Linux distributions but not on Ubuntu, and the authors of Processing ensure it's not a bug in Processing but "something in your window manager that's not properly sending the event through" https://github.com/processing/processing/issues/1813#issuecomment-18700497 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 Package: unity 6.12.0-0ubuntu0.2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-30.51-generic 3.5.7.9 Uname: Linux 3.5.0-30-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ApportVersion: 2.6.1-0ubuntu10 Architecture: i386 CompizPlugins: [core, composite, opengl, decor, vpswitch, mousepoll, compiztoolbox, snap, commands, place, resize, session, regex, grid, wall, move, gnomecompat, imgpng, animation, fade, unitymtgrabhandles, workarounds, scale, expo, ezoom, unityshell] Date: Thu May 30 21:30:51 2013 InstallationDate: Installed on 2010-06-23 (1072 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) MarkForUpload: True ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: unity UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to quantal on 2013-01-13 (137 days ago) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1185986/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages Post to : dx-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
