I've moved the "Canonical System Image" bug to incomplete too so that the bug expires in 59 days if no more information is given since with the current information it can't really be fixed.

I couldn't unlock or do anything, yet the alarm played on I had to hold down the power key to hard boot the phone as there was no way to silence the alarm, the volume keys were not working either.
