Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. The clock app does not follow the gsettings show-seconds. Confined apps afaik don't have access to read gsettings. That said, it is a good idea to respect the settings of the user by following the indicator-datetime preferences. Will talk to the designers and indicator-datetime developers about this.
