JD, this is the intended behaviour. We queue application notifications,
so that only one will be displayed at any time. That means they are
delivered asynchronously, which drives a number of the changes in our
implementation from other implementations.

Bug description:
As far as I can tell, all programs on my system have to share a single
notification 'bubble'. I thought the idea of this new notification system was
that it was to replace libnotify? If that's the case, why don't notifications
run down the side of my monitor as they would have done in the past? It is
especially annoying when I am using several programs at once that are all
producing notifications; I can sit at my monitor for a good thirty seconds
waiting for the bubble to cycle through all the notifications until I get the
one I want. Please do something about this.
