Matthew, is there any specific reason you've confirmed that this is a bug but left the bug in a "New" state, and with no importance? Is it okay for experienced triagers to be cleaning up notify-osd bugs upstream and in ubuntu, or should we stay out and leave it to the desktop team? I have cleaned up a bunch of bugs here recently and marked some obvious dupes as I want to contribute, but don't want to step on anyone's toes.

Status in Notify OSD: New Bug description: My assumption in the report is that synchronous bubbles are only supposed to last for 2 seconds. If only the volume button is pressed, and no notification is on screen, the bubble times out after 2 seconds. But... 1. Have an asynchronous (normal) bubble display. 2. immediately press the volume button.
