Is there currently a workaround? A way to position the location manually?
It took me a while to figure out why I didn't see any notifications by default. My right monitor is smaller and has a lesser resolution, so the top-right of the combined viewport isn't visible. Hence, I saw no notifications at all. Is there some place to configure the location? I would rather have them start at the bottom-left of the viewport. PS. A proper fix would be to: - either show notifications on both screens (ignoring the combined viewport) - show on the primary screen (hence the word 'primary') - have a way to configure where to show the notification (perhaps some people prefer it to be in the center or the left of the screen?). The current choice (top right) assumes a lot of things about how a desktop is setup. My least used-place on the screen is the bottom-left. But that's just MY setup. Perhaps a place in gconf where the power users can configure this stuff? -- regression vs. notification-daemon: positioning when multiple screens are available https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331369 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Notify OSD Developers, which is subscribed to Notify OSD.
