Fixed and released as of 0.9.6.
The current implementation discards normal notifications while in
do-not-disturb mode.
OpenOffice correctly inhibits the Gnome screensaver when running a presentation.

Bug description:
all info in the title, probably applies to KOffice and others aswell.
However we might want to get notifications while watching movies, so we can't
exclude all fullscreen applications.
