This is fixed in trunk by the sliding behavior. I'm not sure if this is
the right way to close the bug in launchpad but seems the most sensible
at the time...

Bug description:
It is currently possible to change size of appendable notification bubbles
while a confirmation bubble is visible. This goes against the spec which says:
"The first bubble, if it is a notification bubble, should also never change
size while any confirmation bubble is also visible; instead, it should wait
until all current confirmation bubbles have disappeared."
Steps to reproduce:
I could not get append to work with notify-send so I have the attached chunk of
python code which should help debug this issue.
1) python notification_change_size_bug.py
2) change volume before 1 second timer runs out
3) note text grows behind volume
