Steve and all, I have QRZ installed here and working fine. Do as follows;
Using the standard installation, the QRZ CD installs to C:\Program Files\QRZ
Ham Radio. Then, if you don't wish to use the CD-Rom for access to data
files, you need to create a directory on your C:\ drive called "callbk" and
then copy everything from the CD-Rom sub directory "callbk" to the new
directory on your hard drive called "callbk". You can highlight all from the
CD directory "callbk" and drag and drop it onto the hard drive directory
"callbk" or use DOS commands "copy *.* for copying, and then set Preferences
in DX4WIN "Ext Data" to a Data Source of "QRZ CDRom" and the Data Directory
to C:\ It should then work fine and data will be almost instantaneous also.
73 and Happy Holidays, -=Rog-K9RB=-
