Eric,

I redesigned my QSL cards so that I could print directly from DX4WIN onto
QSL cards, rather than printing to Avery 5160 labels and then doing the
peel-and-stick routine <ugh>. My printer is an HP 4550N -- not sure what a
4000 is but perhaps they would use similar label definitions?

I use the "custom2" label size and a definition that took quite a bit of
finagling but finally got it to work properly in either landscape mode or
portrait mode on the card. Landscape mode is better because then the QSO
info, and the station callsign, is printed at the top of the card... which
is where buro managers like to see it. This definition prints as may as 12
QSOs on one card, so if you work a DXpedition on many bands/modes you can
(probably) get all the QSOs on one card. If you (or anybody) wants the
specifics of the label layout I'd be happy to share off-line - send me an
e-mail.

The problem I have is that there is a bug in DX4WIN 5.03 in which only the
first landscape label prints properly. So, until Paul/Steve deliver the fix
for that problem I am still doing the peel-and-stick. I have a large run of
buro cards I need to print and I was kinda' hoping that they would rescue me
from the task... <hint ;->
