DX4Win uses pin 17 on the LPT port for CW. However, DX4Win does use pin 20 on a Com port for CW.
Some other configuration error must be the problem. According to the DX4Win documentation the SO2R functions are according to the de facto standard for: Pin 14 radio 1/2 Pin 16 PTT Pin 17 CW Thanks Paul! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roger Marrotte" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <dx4win@mailman.qth.net> Sent: Wednesday, January 29, 2003 7:02 PM Subject: [Dx4win] Follow up of SO2R problem with DX Doubler box. > Now that I've looked at the manual for the DX Doubler from Top Ten Devices > and the Manual for DX4WIN 6.01 I think I see the problem with SO2R > operation. The DX doubler uses pin 17 on the LPT port for CW keying (High > state to key transmitter) and DX4WIN 6.01 uses pin 20(DTR) for CW keying. > As it stands even if I have File|Preferences|Control|CW Keyer Interface set > to "NONE" the radio selected is keyed as soon as it is selected.
