Anyone have simple, step-by-step instructions for upgrading to 6.01? Just unzip it and it does the rest? What about your countries (e.g. K1B,), preferences, etc?
Paul sent me the new license file (yourcall.key) and said to install it in the directory where the dx4win.exe file is kept. Is this where the existing 5.03 exe file is and the new program finds it or put it where the new 6.01 exe file will end up? I don't remember having to (knowingly) use a *.key file when I bought/installed 5.03. I think it just asked me to type in the key I received via e-mail. Sorry for the questions, but from the upgrade snippets I've been reading on the reflector, it really doesn't seem intuitively obvious. I would rather do it right the first time... ;-) Again, any simple, complete step by step for the entire process? Thanks in advance, 73/Carter/K8VT
