There is a sort of kluge... Put $$ (the current frequency macro) into QSO...Contest Mode... Text... (hardly intuitive!) and it puts the frequency into the QSO notes field. Much better than nothing, but I've been trying to convince Paul to "format" the notes field into separate fields for frequency/name/other-info for years... Much easier for import/export and macros...
