There is no provision or setting within the program for enabling any type of auto-reconnect to a cluster once you've been dropped -- it's a very old issue and one that to this day has not been addressed. The good news is a very slick work-around exists and its free! Go to http://www.ve7cc.net/ and download the AR User/DX Spider Program. With this program you will have dx cluster spot filtering so you only receive spots from the area that interests you along with a host of other wonderful features. The program is without question, the best DX Cluster program available today. Once you've got the program installed, go to your dx4win.tcp file (you can open it in Notepad) and add a line with the string (127.0.0.1:7300) without the brackets and then save the file. It's all explained on the webpage. To find this file, go to your c:\program files\dx4wn602\save folder. With the line added to your dx4win.tcp file and the program installed, start the AR User/DX Spider Program. Connect to your cluster and then open the cluster window in DX4WIN and select the 127.0.0.1:7300 entry as the cluster you want to connect to -- through the magic of your computer, spots will flow from the AR User/DX Spider Program into the spot window in DX4WIN. It is a very simple process. Just follow the instructions on the webpage. 73 de Paul, VE7AVV StoneyGround Station -||<*><*>||<*><*>||<*><*>||<*><*>||<*><*>||<*><*>||- "All email from this address is checked by Norton AntiVirus" _______________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win
