Hi John I regularly print such numbers; have to say I can't find anything though in Preferences or Labels that changes the order; though I may have seen it before !
Why don't you set up a print , and in the Print Preview window, see if they in fact are alphabetic ?? BTW - For such a quantity, I often print using a range, so that if printer cocks up (out of ink, jam, etc), then you don't have such a big job to do.
