Stu,

I guess the question is why do you want them separate? Unless they are in
different DXCC entities, they all get combined for DXCC purposes. So, I
don't understand what you see as a problem.

I have all of my QSOs made under all my callsigns in one log file. What I do
is for the last QSO made under a callsign, I put "last qso as WN2OVE" in the
"notes for this QSO" the first QSO of another I put in the notes "first QSO
as W5OV".

Again, for DXCC purposes, it does not matter what callsign you made the QSO
with.

For uploading to LotW, you need to know when you began and ended using each
callsign. But once you have uploaded all of the old logs, it won't matter
again - especially since you most likely won't make any more qsos with an
old callsign.

Subject: [Dx4win] Old Callsign Logs

Hello to All,

I'm baffled and need some help.

I started logging with DX4WIN back in 1998 and have had two callsigns in
that period.
I'm now trying to go back and enter some of my old QSO's from my original
callsign.
I made a log with my old callsign and started entering QSO's back in from
the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. All these Q's are prior to 1998 when I first
started DX4WIN.

My problem is that the old Q's do not show up when I use my current log
showing ALL QSO's using ALL logs combined. If I put my old Q's in the
current log it works just fine. But, I wanted to keep my old Q's of the last
40 years (prior to 1998) in a separate log with my original callsign.

I'm hoping I have made this reasonable clear and that somebody has
experienced the same situation and has the answer. I'm probably not the
first or will be the last to inquire about this problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Best 73 es GUD DX,
STU (W6TA)
