It sounds like the sort order of your log has inadvertently been changed to
some option other than date. When in the QSO window go to the "Sort" menu
and select "Date", see if things return to normal .

Subject: [Dx4win] Logbook window question

I like to keep the Logbook Window open, showing about the last ten QSO's.
However whenever I enter a new QSO, the logbook jumps back into the log and
hi-lights a previous QSO at the top of the window. In the present (2008)
log I am currently at QSO Number 1190. When I enter a new QSO the logbook
display shows it for a half-second then jumps back to put QSO #705
hi-lighted at the top. Sometimes it has gone to a different QSO number but
most of the time it goes to this particular QSO.

At first I thought it might be going to the last QSO with the same country I
just entered but that is not the case. For instance tonight I have worked
9G5ZZ, YM3A, 4X4FC, 9G5ZZ (different band) and KH6LC for QSO's numbers 1186
- 1190 this year. In every case the logbook jumped back to QSO number 705
which happens to be VP2MDD (on six meters no less back in June).

Any thoughts on what is causing this?
