Hi Jim,

The CW pitch control changes the offset I use for copying CW. Let's assume
I am using 500 Hz for the CW pitch and the CW pitch control is set to 500
Hz.
Assuming I'm on CW and I grab an SSB spot by double clicking an SSB station
in the DX spots window which happens to be on 14,250.00 kHz. The VFO goes
to 14,244.50 kHz. If I double click the spot again, the VFO moves to
14,250.00 kHz, the correct frequency.

The same problem exists when going from SSB to CW. If I grab a spot on
14,005.00
the VFO moves to 14,005.50 again offset by the value of the tone of the CW
pitch control. Double clicking on this CW spot moves the VFO to the correct
frequency, i.e. 14,005.00.

RIT and XIT are turned off, Split is off and I'm deeply puzzled by this
behavior in version 7.06.

To prove to myself I wasn't totally nuts, I went back to Version 7.05 and
spot grabbing
works flawlessly. Evidently, a bug crept into Version 7.06 that wasn't
present in previous version.

As always, Jim, thank you for your continued support.

                      Regards,

Hi Walt,

I don't understand this part:

> If I am on CW and I grab an SSB spot, the frequency I'm taken to is
> offset (low) from the actual frequency by the amount of the offset

Amount of "what" offset?

There are two Pro III .RIG files, try both and see if the problem
changes/goes away. The "B" flavor doesn't work with my rig.

I have a Pro III at home, I can try this tonight.
